Recap: Riverview Raiders vs. St. Joseph Spartans
The Riverview Raiders suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They took a serious blow against St. Joseph, falling 70-40. Riverview has struggled against St. Joseph recently, as their contest on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Julie Spinelli continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Joseph, scoring 22 points along with four steals. Spinelli has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Kreinbrook, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Riverview's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for St. Joseph, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
Riverview's road trip will continue as they head out to face Springdale at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for St. Joseph, they will be playing at home against Eden Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
