With a playoff win on the line, John Milledge Academy rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Brookwood Warriors. Considering the Trojans have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

John Milledge Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Remington Weaver, who went 3-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs. Those three doubles gave Weaver a new career-high. Bradyn Harrison was another, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The victory (which was John Milledge Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-8. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Brookwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-20.

As of now, neither John Milledge Academy nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
