Basketball Recap: Panther Valley Panthers vs. Blue Mountain Eagles
After flying high against Jim Thorpe last Wednesday, Panther Valley came back down to earth. The Panther Valley Panthers fell 47-39 to the Blue Mountain Eagles on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Natalie Vermillion, who posted nine points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Orsulak, who earned 13 points and six boards.
