Softball Recap: Little Axe Takes a Loss

Little Axe suffered their closest defeat since September 13, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Davis Wolves by a score of 6-4. The Indians have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Little Axe's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Davis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-14-2 record this season.

Davis wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Bethel on the 2nd. Hopefully Little Axe paid attention to the Wolves' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wolves on Friday.
