Baseball Recap: McEachern Find Success

McEachern hadn't done well against Campbell recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. McEachern came out on top against Campbell by a score of 6-1. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

McEachern got a great performance from JC Crenshaw as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts Crenshaw has posted since back in February.

On the hitting side, Leandro Sanchez was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Tyce Williams was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

McEachern's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Campbell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

McEachern will have a chance to go back-to-back against Campbell: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday.
