Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Johansen's Third in Last Four Outings

Ripon Christian came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Johansen, but Danna Singh wouldn't allow it. The Johansen Vikings walked away with a 29-17 victory over the Ripon Christian Knights on Friday thanks in part to Singh, who posted seven points in addition to six boards and five steals. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Johansen has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Ripon Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Johansen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-52 loss against Beyer on the 6th. As for Ripon Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 31-22 defeat against Hilmar on the 7th.
