Football Recap: Big Lake Takes a Loss

Big Lake lost against Delano back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets came up short against the Tigers, falling 28-6. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Big Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Delano, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Lake will welcome Mound-Westonka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will be up against the White Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Delano, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. Marshall's defense has only allowed 3.2 points per game this season, so Delano's offense will have their work cut out for them.
