After flying high against Lanier last Monday, Milton came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 7-3 to the Longhorns on Wednesday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Lanier, their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-18.

While Milton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
