Basketball Recap: Canon-Mcmillan Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Canon-McMillan lost against Norwin back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Canon-McMillan Big Macs fell just short of the Norwin Knights by a score of 32-30.

Despite the defeat, Canon-McMillan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Faye Saunders dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Samantha Miller, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Canon-McMillan's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for Norwin, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Canon-McMillan has already played their next matchup, a 62-32 win against Connellsville on the 6th. Norwin has also already played their next game (against Hempfield Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
