Volleyball Recap: Kokomo Takes a Loss

Kokomo was the 2-1 winner over Hobart when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildkats fell 2-0 to the Brickies on Saturday.

Bella Richards paced Kokomo's offense, picking up seven kills. Richards got some help from Torre Willis and her 17 assists. Richards also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Carolina Silvia, racking up two apiece.

Kokomo has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Hobart, they moved to 7-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Kokomo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Peru on the 15th. As for Hobart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Hanover Central on the 16th.
