Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Clairton's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

The Clairton Bears claimed a resounding 83-56 victory over the California Trojans thanks in part to Wade, who posted 40 points. The contest was her 44th in a row with at least ten points.

Clairton has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for California, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Clairton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 74-27 win against Carrick on the 29th. As for California, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-48 victory against Charleroi on the 29th.
