Softball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Marietta's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Crossings Christian Knights on Thursday. The Indians have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Crossings Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-11.

Crossings Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against Perry on the 2nd. Hopefully Marietta paid attention to the Knights' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Knights on Thursday.
