Softball Recap: Davis Takes a Loss

If Davis was feeling good fresh off their 12-0 takedown of Ardmore on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves fell just short of the Pauls Valley Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

Davis' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-14-2. As for Pauls Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-19 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Davis beat Pauls Valley by a score of 6-3 later that day.
