Dawson County extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Peach County. They blew past the Trojans 19-11. Considering the Tigers have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Dawson County got a massive performance out of Sadie Dotson, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Lilly Hamilton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and four RBI.

Dawson County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .311 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Dawson County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Peach County, they dropped their record down to 17-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
