Basketball Recap: Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Summit Charter Collegiate Academy waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Orosi Cardinals by a score of 48-41. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-35 back in January.

It was another big night for Evonie Mendoza, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Caylie Martinez, who put up nine points.

Summit Charter Collegiate Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points over those games. As for Orosi, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.
