Bishop Carroll entered their tilt with Richland on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took down the Rams 56-37. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Rams are ranked 443rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Carroll got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sarah Miller out in front who went 8-for-14 on her way to 20 points and six rebounds. Those 20 points gave Miller a new career-high. Adelyn Myers was another key player, shooting 55% from the field en route to 12 points and three steals.

Bishop Carroll was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Richland only racked up six.

When it comes to explaining why Richland lost, don't look at Trinity Macey. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. Natalia Mavridis also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bishop Carroll's record is now 17-1. As for Richland, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Bishop Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-39 win against Penns Valley Area on the 30th. As for Richland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-21 defeat against Bishop Guilfoyle on the 30th.
