Softball Recap: Pius X Takes a Loss

Pius X suffered their closest defeat since August 21st on Saturday. They fell just short of the Ralston Rams by a score of 3-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 back in September.

Pius X's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Ralston, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pius X beat Ralston by a score of 8-0 later that day.
