After losing to Russellville the last time they met, Fayette decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Indians 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

The victory got Fayette back to even at 4-4. As for Russellville, they moved to 8-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Fayette will venture away from home to square off against Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bearcats have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Russellville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Owensville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
