Bonita Vista's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Classical Academy as Bonita Vista made off with a 3-0 victory. Given the Barons' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Caimans are ranked 355th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bonita Vista hit Classical Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alena Ramirez, Theresa Castro, and Sofia Nunez.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Otay Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Olympian on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Mustangs' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

With the win, Otay Ranch broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-5-3. As for Bonita Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Bonita Vista took their win against Otay Ranch when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bonita Vista since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
