Softball Recap: Chouteau-Mazie Has No Trouble Against Porter

After losing to Porter the last time they met, Chouteau-Mazie decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats blew past the Pirates 12-3 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Chouteau-Mazie and bumps their season record up to 12-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Porter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Chouteau-Mazie will challenge Hulbert at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Porter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Locust Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
