Lincoln Park Performing Arts picks up ninth straight win at home

Lincoln Park Performing Arts put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 win over South Fayette. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Lincoln Park Performing Arts has scored all year.

Lincoln Park Performing Arts' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maddie Syka, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Syka is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sarah Scott, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Lincoln Park Performing Arts pushed their record up to 18-0 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for South Fayette, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Park Performing Arts will face off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Moon Area will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the are ranked 15th). As for South Fayette, they will head out on the road to take on the Hillers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
