Game recap: Andover's comeback bid not enough against Osseo

Osseo (Minn.)'s advantage, which at one point stood at 15 points, dwindled to nine before the final whistle blew on a 22-13 victory over Andover (Minn.).

After taking the lead on a Connor Wilkie touchdown pass to Tyler Evans, the Huskies went into halftime with a 7-3 lead. The Orioles took the lead for good with a Troy Kray touchdown run in the third quarter.

With the win Osseo extended its winning streak to five games. OHS defeated the Falcons 42-14 last week.

Bridge Tusler stood out for the Orioles in the win. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns.

Wilkie made a difference for Andover. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns.



When the two teams played each other last season, Osseo came away with a 41-13 victory.

The loss comes after Andover defeated Elk River 21-14 last week. The loss snapped AHS's 2-game winning streak.

Andover (2-3) will play a Northwest Suburban game against Totino-Grace next week, while Osseo (5-0) will take on Park Center also in a Northwest Suburban game.
