Softball Recap: Leedey Snags 13th Victory in Last 15 Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mangum, Leedey was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bison, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Leedey has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Fort Cobb-Broxton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.

Leedey wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 20-4 win against Vici on the 25th. As for Fort Cobb-Broxton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Hammon on the 25th.
