Baseball Game Preview: White County Warriors vs. North Hall Trojans

White County is 1-9 against North Hall since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The White County Warriors will square off against the North Hall Trojans at 5:55 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for White County's offense. They fell just short of North Hall by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Trevor Butler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, White County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Campbell, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

North Hall is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. White County's loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
