Softball Recap: Johnson County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Georgia Military College on Thursday, Johnson County came back down to earth. The Trojans lost 11-5 to the Wilcox County Patriots on Monday. The Trojans have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Johnson County's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Wilcox County, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-7.

Coming up, Johnson County will take on Glascock County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wilcox County, they will face off against Montgomery County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.06 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
