Soccer Recap: Silver Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Silver can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Los Alamos Hilltoppers on Wednesday. Silver just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Silver's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Los Alamos, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7-1.

Silver does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Los Alamos, they will square off against Artesia at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Los Alamos' defense better be ready for this one: Artesia have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season.
