Hood River Valley extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 19-7. They never let Centennial get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Hood River Valley has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Centennial, too.

As for Centennial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Centennial's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julio Lauzurique Yordi, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Hood River Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against Centennial: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
