Buddy Wilson Turns in Season-Best Effort

Buddy Wilson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Piketon to the win on Friday. Wilson rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Wilson is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Westfall on Friday. Wilson rushed for 260 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Stewart Came Up Big in Zane Trace's 48-12 Victory

Silas Stewart was a major factor in Zane Trace's victory over Southeastern on Friday. Stewart turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Stewart must have Southeastern's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stewart saw the Panthers), he picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Cody Braden and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

Unioto picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cody Braden. Braden turned in nothing short of a gem, making a tackle.

Unioto's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Braden's next game is against Southeastern on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Peyton Dotson Makes It Two for Zane Trace

The second Zane Trace player making an appearance here is Peyton Dotson, and for good reason. He picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown.

On the year, Dotson has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 17.9 receiving yards per game.

Unioto Gets a Boost from Coy in 43-0 Win

Isaac Coy's big game helped extend Unioto's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Coy as he rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 150 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

For the season, Coy has thrown 22 touchdowns while averaging 217.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 38.2 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 112.36 passer rating.
