Volleyball Recap: Hilton Head Prep Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Hilton Head Prep had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the St. Andrew's Lions on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-13.

St. Andrew's found their leader in sophomore Lyleigh Bradshaw, who had eight digs and eight aces. Caroline Lawrence also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

St. Andrew's is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Hilton Head Prep has already played their next matchup (against Veritas Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Andrew's, they will challenge West Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
