Soccer Recap: Lafayette Christian Comes Up Short

If Lafayette Christian was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Community Christian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lafayette Christian came up short against Killian Hill Christian on Thursday, falling 6-2.

Lafayette Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Killian Hill Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lafayette Christian duke it out with Springwood at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Killian Hill Christian, they will head out to face off against Cherokee Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Killian Hill Christian will be up against Cherokee Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.75 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
