Soccer Recap: Bowdon Comes Up Short

Bowdon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights.

Bowdon's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Elite Scholars Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bowdon will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on April 3rd. As for Elite Scholars Academy, they will head out to challenge Galloway at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Elite Scholars Academy will be up against Galloway's rather soft defense (which has allowed seven goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
