Baseball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Southeast Whitfield County's offense. They came up short against the Allatoona Buccaneers on Friday, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 last Tuesday.

Southeast Whitfield County has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. Allatoona pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Allatoona beat Southeast Whitfield County by a score of 15-0 later that day.
