Soccer Recap: Central Gwinnett Takes a Loss

Central Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dacula Falcons. While losing is never fun, Central Gwinnett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Dacula are ranked 27th).

Central Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Dacula, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Gwinnett will welcome Norcross at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Gwinnett's defense better be ready for this one: Norcross has averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Dacula, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
