Baseball Recap: Bellevue Comes Up Short

After flying high against Vermilion on Wednesday, Bellevue came back down to earth. The Redmen fell just short of the St. Paul Flyers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Redmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flyers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for St. Paul, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3-1.

Coming up, Bellevue will challenge Shelby at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Paul, they have already played their next contest, an 8-5 win against Edison on the 26th.
