Recap: Foothill Knights vs. El Toro Chargers
The Foothill Knights lost against the El Toro Chargers back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Foothill took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of El Toro.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jay Perez, who scored 5 points along with 16 rebounds and 3 steals. Perez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Elize McAveney, who scored 15 points.
Foothill's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-4. As for El Toro, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Foothill is on the road again on December 4th and play against Beckman at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. As for El Toro, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Fountain Valley at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th. Fountain Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
