Softball Recap: Wheeler Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wheeler's offense. They came up short against the North Paulding Wolfpack on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for North Paulding, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wheeler is set to square off against their familiar foe Etowah at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Paulding will take on rival North Cobb at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolfpack 3.8, the Warriors 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
