It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Passaic County Tech had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Memorial Tigers as they made off with a 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 19 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Passaic County Tech got a massive performance out of Ronny Rodriguez, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Those four RBI gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Yordany Herrera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

The victory was the third in a row for Passaic County Tech, bringing their record up to 28-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-18-1.

Passaic County Tech will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
