Midwest City waltzed into their contest on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They put the hurt on the Douglass Trojans with a sharp 14-0 victory. Considering the Bombers have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Midwest City gave Noreli Brown the start and clearly made the right call: she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Brown has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up a single earned run in ten consecutive appearances.

Midwest City's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Douglass, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
