Football Game Preview: Paint Branch Panthers vs. Blake Bengals + How To Watch

Paint Branch has gone 9-1 against Blake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will welcome the Bengals at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Paint Branch 9.2, Blake 13.2) so any points scored will be well earned.

Paint Branch is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Churchill just ended the team's seven-game winning streak two weeks ago. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 20-18. While the Panthers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Bulldogs 12-7.

Paint Branch might have lost, but man, Alijah Bah was a machine: he rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns. Bah has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Blake had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took down the Spartans 33-15. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bengals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Paint Branch's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Blake, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Paint Branch was able to grind out a solid victory over Blake when the teams last played back in October, winning 20-7. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bengals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
