Recap: Banning Broncos vs. Cathedral City Lions
The Banning Broncos had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Cathedral City 57-16 at home. The victory was just what Banning needed coming off of a 53-32 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Maryanne Palacios, who made all 6 shots she took from beyond the arc racking up 25 points and 1 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Symora Prince, who scored 11 points.
Banning's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Cathedral City, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Banning will head out on the road to face off against Desert Mirage at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cathedral City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coachella Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
