Football Recap: North Hills Comes Up Short

North Hills extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They took a blow against the Pine-Richland Rams, falling 48-6. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Rams are ranked ninth).

As for Pine-Richland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won three matchups by 29 points or more so far this season.

AARON STRADER produced another solid performance throwing for 321 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground. Those 321 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was MACLANE MILLER, who rushed for 73 yards and a pair of scores.

North Hills has already played their next contest, a 56-7 victory against Fox Chapel on the 19th. As for Pine-Richland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 56-14 win against Plum on the 19th.
