Basketball Recap: Carbondale Area Takes a Loss

Carbondale Area lost against Mountain View back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Carbondale Area Chargers took a blow against the Mountain View Eagles, falling 63-26. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 658th, while the Eagles are ranked 195th).

This is the second loss in a row for Carbondale Area and nudges their season record down to 2-11. As for Mountain View, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Carbondale Area has already played their next game (against Lackawanna Trail), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mountain View has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Blue Ridge.
