Baseball Recap: Glenbard West Comes Up Short

Glenbard West lost to Lyons on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glenbard West's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lyons, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Lyons has already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Riverside-Brookfield on the 22nd. Hopefully Glenbard West paid attention to the Lions' matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
