Soccer Game Preview: Forsyth Central vs. North Atlanta

The Forsyth Central Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the North Atlanta Warriors at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Forsyth Central played against West Hall on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

North Atlanta gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Lovett by a score of 3-1. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Lions are ranked 195th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Max Rode and Sully Clausen scored all three of North Atlanta's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Forsyth Central's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. As for North Atlanta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Forsyth Central couldn't quite get it done against North Atlanta in their previous matchup back in March of 2016 as they fell 4-2. Can Forsyth Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
