Piedmont has gone a perfect 10-0 against Guthrie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Bluejays at 5:00 p.m. Piedmont's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Guthrie's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Piedmont is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Owasso just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Piedmont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nadia Jeffries, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Guthrie can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They and Midwest City finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw.

With that tie, Guthrie's record moves to 11-14-1. As for Piedmont, their loss dropped their record down to 22-10.

Piedmont was able to grind out a solid win over Guthrie in their previous matchup back in August, winning 5-1. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bluejays have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
