Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Centauri couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. The game between the Falcons and the Buena Vista Demons didn't end well, with the Falcons falling 27-12. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Centauri lost on Saturday, don't look at Carson Shawcroft. Despite the final result, he picked up 116 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Buena Vista's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hudson Wingo, who threw for 163 yards and three TDs. That's the most passing yards Wingo has posted since back in September. Eli Schuknecht helped Wingo out on the ground, rushing for 150 yards.

Centauri's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Buena Vista, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Centauri does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buena Vista, they will be playing at home against Limon at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Demons 9.9, the Badgers 10.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
