Basketball Recap: Najya Vega's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lititz Christian over Harrisburg Christian

Lititz Christian lost against Harrisburg Christian back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Lititz Christian Eagles and Harrisburg Christian didn't end well, with the Lititz Christian Eagles falling 43-26.

Lititz Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Najya Vega, who posted four points and six steals. What's more, Vega also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emma Christner, who earned 15 points.

Lititz Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Harrisburg Christian, they moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Lititz Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-29 victory against Linden Hall School for Girls on the 13th. Harrisburg Christian has also already played their next contest, a 30-8 win against Harrisburg Academy on the 11th.
