Basketball Recap: Juniata Takes a Loss

Juniata lost to Susquenita back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians fell 49-43 to the Blackhawks. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Susquenita can attribute much of their success to Kaydon Brandt, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. That's the most boards Brandt has posted since back in December of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Prinz, who went 5-for-6 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Juniata's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Susquenita, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Juniata has already played their next contest (against Belleville Mennonite), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Susquenita, they will welcome Upper Dauphin Area at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
