Artesia waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls with a sharp 5-1 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Artesia hit Carlsbad with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Moises Corza (2), Jackson Hollinger, Anton Wodarz, and Damian Lopez.

Artesia's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Carlsbad, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
