Justin-Siena had won 16 straight games and Jordan WASHINGTON did her part to make it 17 on Saturday. The Justin-Siena Braves put the hurt on the American Canyon Wolves with a sharp 62-39 win thanks in part to WASHINGTON, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Justin-Siena's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Zapolski, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 11 points and seven assists. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

American Canyon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jordan Woodson, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Ke'Yani Bryant, who earned eight points and three steals.

Justin-Siena's victory bumped their record up to 25-2. As for American Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-8.

Justin-Siena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Canyon, they will venture away from home to square off against University at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
